Privacy policy

1.Who we are

Kreyva is run by Serv AB, company registration number 559299-5020, Stockholm. For data protection matters: info@kreyva.com. We are the controller for the data described below.

2.What we collect

Kreyva collects as little as possible. There are four points where anything is stored.

The waitlist

We store your email address. Nothing else — no name, no IP address, nothing about your device. Why: to write to you when Kreyva opens, and to send an occasional update on how the build is going. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe whenever you like — every email has a link for it.

If you are a food creator

We store your email address and your social media handle, so we can contact you about Kreyva. Legal basis: your consent.

The survey

We store your answers, which language you used, and the date you answered — the date, not the time of day. We do not store your IP address, and not which browser or device you used. Every answer gets a random id that says nothing about when it arrived or in what order.

Answers sent anonymously stay anonymous — nothing in them says who wrote them. If you choose to join the waitlist, your email address is stored separately, and it cannot be linked to your answers. If you choose to test the app, your address is stored together with them instead, and that is said at the question.

One exception you should know about: the free-text fields are yours to write in. If you write something that points to you — your name, where you work, where you live — that text can identify you, and the answer is no longer anonymous. So we ask you not to write such things, and we remove them if we find them.

Legal basis: anonymous data is not personal data and falls outside the GDPR. If a free-text answer does contain personal data, we process it on the basis of your consent, and delete it.

If you choose to test the app

If you choose to test the app before it opens, we store your email address together with your answers, so we know who we are talking to when we get in touch. Those answers are not anonymous, unlike the rest.

Legal basis: your consent. You chose to give us the address yourself, and you can ask us to remove it whenever you like.

The app

Kreyva's app is a preview for now. It has no accounts and stores nothing between visits — everything you do there lives only in your browser until you reload. We do not see it, and we do not store it. That changes when the app opens properly, and this policy will be updated then, before it happens.

3.How long we keep it

Email addresses: at most 24 months from when you signed up. After that they are deleted. If you unsubscribe earlier, they are deleted straight away.

Anonymous survey answers: indefinitely. Because they are anonymous there is no obligation to delete them, and we want to be able to compare how answers change over time.

Answers from someone who signed up to test: deleted after 24 months, the whole thing including the email address. The same time as the waitlist.

4.Who sees the data

The data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, who processes it on our behalf. We never sell data, and we never hand out email addresses — not to food creators, not to anyone else. Contact with users always goes through Kreyva.

5.Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to the processing.

For email addresses, an email to info@kreyva.com is enough and we will remove you.

For anonymous survey answers we cannot help you — not because we do not want to, but because we cannot know which answer is yours. That is the same thing that makes them anonymous.

If you signed up to test the app, that does not apply. Those answers are stored with your email address, so we can find them and delete them. Write to info@kreyva.com.

You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.

6.Cookies

Kreyva sets no cookies of its own. If you open a video from TikTok or Instagram inside the app they may set their own, under their terms — and that only happens once you actively choose to play something.

7.Changes

If we change anything substantial we will say so here, with a date. When the app opens with real accounts we will update this policy before that happens, not after.
