Terms — how Kreyva works
This is a plain description of how Kreyva works and what you are agreeing to when you use it. It is written to be understood on one read.
1.Videos and where they play
A dish in Kreyva is a still frame from the post it came from. A video only ever plays through the source platform's own official player — TikTok's or Instagram's — whether that is an embed or the post opened on the platform itself. Kreyva never downloads a video, never stores a copy and never re-hosts it anywhere.
The video remains the creator's. Watching it happens under the source platform's own terms, because it is that platform playing it.
2.AI-drafted recipes
Anyone can paste a link to a publicly posted food video, and Kreyva drafts a recipe from what is shown in it. The result is always labelled as a draft.
A draft is never presented as written or endorsed by the creator. It only stops being a draft when that creator confirms it themselves.
- A creator can edit any recipe drafted from their video.
- A creator can delete any draft attributed to them.
- A creator can have all of their content removed from Kreyva entirely, by asking us.
3.Creator profiles
Nothing is published about a creator before they claim their profile themselves — no profile page, no ranking, no statistics. Demand can accumulate under a name behind the scenes, but it stays invisible to everyone until it is claimed.
Claiming is voluntary and reversible. A creator who claims a profile can unclaim it again, and everything goes back to being private.
4.What things cost
Nothing here is operating yet. Nobody is being charged and nobody is being paid. What follows is how the model is designed to work, not a description of something already happening.
- Cooking is free. Recipes, saving, the shopping list, confirming a cook and Explore never cost anything.
- The assistant is where a subscription applies: a set number of messages a day are free, and paying lifts that.
- A creator account and profile are free, and so is writing to the home cooks who have cooked your food.
- A cost only arises at the scale of very large sends, and that is raised inside the app if a creator ever reaches it.
Kreyva does not take a cut of a creator's food, and does not sell advertising against it. Terms will be written and agreed with creators before any money moves in either direction.
5.Your data
Kreyva stores what it needs to work: your account details, the recipes you save, the dishes you confirm you cooked, who you follow, and the preferences and allergies you set. That is what makes suggestions and adapted recipes possible.
- Creators never receive user email addresses. All communication runs through Kreyva.
- Individual user data is never sold.
- Aggregated, anonymised cooking data may be used in the future, and only under a separate consent framework described before it happens.

6.Ask Kreyva
Your conversations with Ask Kreyva are used to give you better answers inside the app — what you cook, what you save and what you cannot eat shape what it suggests next.
There is a daily limit on messages. Ask Kreyva is not a source of medical, allergy or nutritional advice. If you have a serious allergy, check the ingredients yourself.
7.Content standards
Food only. Content has to help someone cook. What is allowed, what never is, and what is only allowed when it teaches something is set out in full in the content rules, which are part of these terms.
The same rules describe how decisions are made and how reporting, review and appeals work. Read them at kreyva.com/content-rules.
8.Where content lives, and what Kreyva is responsible for
Videos play through the source platform's own player and remain subject to that platform's rules. Kreyva never downloads, stores or re-hosts video, and holds no copy of it. If a creator removes the original, there is nothing left to watch from Kreyva either.
What Kreyva is directly responsible for is narrower: the AI-drafted recipe text and the comments people write.
